报告摘要: Gas Turbine RQL (Rich Burn, Quick Quench, Lean Burn) Combustion
Detailed aerodynamics, burning mode and combustion dynamics investigations on a Single Annular Combustor (SAC) Sector (Fuel Rich Dome Combustor with RQL approch) are reported. The SAC sector comprises: swirl cup with counter rotating coaxial radial inlet swirlers, inlet diffuser, inlet cowl, film cooling strips as well as primary and secondary dilution jets. High turbulence activity is observed around the jet boundaries (shear layer) as well as the central region were dilution jets mix with the main flow. Also, high turbulence activity is noticed as the jet issues from the swirler cup flare. Reacting flow video shows that reaction takes place in such regions, provided that there is adequate local fuel/air ratio. Instantaneous PIV reveals the strong interaction between the CRZ and the dilution jets. The dilution jets have significant effect on the structure of the CRZ as well as the secondary region (post CRZ). Several off center PIV measurements are conducted to obtain a reconstructed 3D image of the CRZ. The dimensions of the 3D CRZ reveal the strong influence of the confinement on the shape of the CRZ.
